Art Management Bootcamp 2025: Pitching & Storytelling with Yura Sapi

LiberArte's founder and CEO, Yura Sapi, was a featured instructor at the Art Management Bootcamp 2025, a virtual training program designed to empower Peruvian and Latin American performing artists with practical tools to build sustainable artistic careers.

Yura led a dynamic online workshop in Spanish, focused on storytelling and narrative development for performing artists, as part of the bootcamp's four-day intensive. Organized by QARTE Consultoría and featuring experts from New York City's thriving arts ecosystem, the bootcamp offered a first-of-its-kind opportunity to strengthen the business and strategic planning skills of Latin American creatives.

Yura Sapi's session guided artists through the art of using personal and collective stories to fuel authentic connection, community engagement, and global resonance in their artistic practices.

Participants gained skills in developing compelling narratives that center culture, identity, and community resilience — vital tools for funders, collaborators, and audiences alike. The final hybrid event culminated with project presentations in New York City, spotlighting the voices of a new generation of Latin American artists.

“Storytelling is how we heal, how we remember, how we resist. This workshop is about reclaiming that power and using it to sustain our art,” said Yura Sapi.
