A Día de los Muertos-themed fall series bringing Acoustic Memories' Open Street programming back to Gleane Street — live music, dance, and car-free trick-or-treating for all ages.
LiberArte supports Acoustic Memories bringing its Open Street series back to Gleane Street in Elmhurst for a Día de los Muertos-themed Fall Festival of Diasporas. Building on a summer of live music and dance spanning Cuban, Colombian, Mediterranean, Mexican, and African-rooted South American traditions with live music and film screenings for a neighborhood gathering opportunity. Programming transforms the street into a livable public space with an inclusive lens: activities and materials will be offered in Spanish as well as English and designed to welcome all.
