Queens, NY — May 18, 2026 — LiberArte Inc. is proud to announce Amado Espinoza as its newest Artist-in-Residence, with support from New Music USA's Organization Fund.

Amado Espinoza is a Bolivian multi-instrumentalist, composer, educator, and native instrument builder whose work bridges ancestral traditions and contemporary expression. He is the recipient of the Folk Alliance International 2022 Spirit of Folk Award, a 2019 Lighton Foundation International Artist Grant, and the 2017 Charlotte St. Foundation Performing Arts Fellowship. Espinoza has opened TEDxKC, performed at Carnegie Hall with Ensemble Iberica, and taught a masterclass at Berklee College of Music.

His residency with LiberArte continues the organization's commitment to amplifying multilingual voices, rooting new and experimental sound in community, healing, and justice.

Es recipient del Premio Spirit of Folk 2022 de Folk Alliance International, una Beca Internacional de la Fundación Lighton 2019, y la Beca de Artes Escénicas de la Fundación Charlotte St. 2017. Espinoza ha abierto TEDxKC, se ha presentado en el Carnegie Hall con Ensemble Iberica, y ha impartido una clase magistral en el Berklee College of Music.

Su residencia con LiberArte continúa el compromiso de la organización de amplificar voces multilingües, arraigando el sonido nuevo y experimental en la comunidad, la sanación y la justicia.
