Yura Sapi, Founding CEO of LiberArte, is featured in the Season 4 premiere of ARTS. WORK. LIFE., the award-winning podcast from the Association of Performing Arts Professionals (APAP) about what it's like to work in the performing arts, featuring bold, untold stories from arts workers.
The premiere episode, "Trailblazers," explores what it means to be the first to do something — the accolades and recognition, but also the loneliness — and features stories from four trailblazers who broke barriers, not just for their own advancement, but to create opportunities for others.
Yura's story, "Let It Rain," appears in Act Three, alongside an intro with singer, songwriter, music educator and disability activist Precious Perez; Act One, "Barre None," with Lydia Abarca Mitchell, a founding member of Dance Theatre of Harlem; and Act Two, "A Day in the Life," with Magdalene Minnaar, artistic director of Cape Town Opera.
ARTS. WORK. LIFE. launched in June 2022 and has won a Trendy Award for Best Podcast and a BRONZE Anthem Award. The podcast is made possible with the generous support of the Wallace Foundation, and all episodes are available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, TuneIn, YouTube and APAP's website.
