Our Current Programs:

• LiberArte's Artist-In-Residence Program partners with international and local artists to support the creation and presentation of live performance in community with our audiences in Queens, New York, and our partners across the United States and globally. Artists share work through events we host and co-produce, often premiering new projects for the first time. The residency can also provide artist services support such as with grant writing, fundraising, and marketing to help artists sustain and grow their work.
• LiberArte’s Nurturing Dreams Scholarships expand access to our education programs through sliding-scale and fully funded support, advancing leadership, creativity, and collective liberation. We believe artists thrive when they receive both internal and external support, combining professional development, self-growth, and clear, values-driven goals that help turn dreams into reality. 
• LiberArte’s Liberation Through the Arts Grants supports performance artists and arts organizers whose work advances racial, social, and climate justice through creative engagement, cultural practice, and community-rooted action worldwide.

How to Apply:

Artists are currently selected through LiberArte’s internal networks, past event engagements and bookings, and open calls that are periodically launched for targeted opportunities. We invite artists to join our mailing list and follow on our social media accounts to receive updates about future open calls and program opportunities. 

You may also submit an interest form below to be considered for an upcoming program. Please note: This is not a formal application. We will not be able to respond to every submission, but we review all responses and will reach out as opportunities arise. We also welcome referrals from our trusted partners and networks.
