Yowar Mosquera is our Farm Director in Nuquí and Co-founder of Protectores de la Tierra. With a background in sustainable development and community programs, Yowar leads innovative agri(cultural) projects to combat food insecurity and foster self-sufficient communities in Colombia. Through Protectores de la Tierra, he has successfully implemented programs focusing on sustainable farming practices, education, and resilience-building in local communities.

In addition to his leadership role in farming initiatives, Yowar is a passionate advocate for environmental stewardship and cultural preservation. His work extends into the realms of tourism, as the operator of Casa Yow Surf, and the arts, as the co-founder of Tambacum, a traditional music ensemble promoting the rich heritage of Nuquí. Yowar's diverse experiences and deep commitment to his community position him as a driving force for positive change in the region.
