Queens, New York – February, 2025 – The Building Our Own Tables podcast, a powerful platform amplifying the voices of arts leaders and cultural changemakers, is now casting for Season 5! Hosted by Yura Sapi and produced by HowlRound Theatre Commons, Building Our Own Tables spotlights theatre founders, innovators, and visionaries who are breaking barriers and reimagining the future of performance spaces.

For four seasons, Building Our Own Tables has shared the journeys of BIPOC, queer, and intersectional leaders shaping new paradigms in the arts. As we enter Season 5, we are calling on those building theatre spaces that foster radical inclusion, sustainability, and cultural transformation.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Founders of theatre companies, collectives, or independent spaces.
• Innovators integrating new into theatre-making.
• Visionaries committed to decolonization, equity, and accessibility in the performing arts.
