QUEENS, NY — June 3rd, 2025LiberArte Inc. is seeking mission-aligned sponsors for the Afro-Diasporic Ocean Festival, a powerful, free community event taking place on Saturday, July 27, 2025 at Rockaway Beach Amphitheater in Queens, NY.

The festival celebrates the vibrant intersections of Afro-Diasporic heritage and ocean advocacy. With a full day of live music, Capoeira rodas, a samba workshop, and an ocean conservation panel discussion, it offers a rare opportunity to activate cultural power in service of environmental and social justice.

Featuring Quilombo do Acupe 

Anchoring the festival is Quilombo do Acupe, a renowned Afro-Brazilian ensemble known for their mastery of Capoeira Angola and samba de roda. Their performance offers a powerful expression of cultural resistance and community joy — with more special guests to be announced.
